Personal Identification

Despite the relatively secure laser personalisation of PC cards or data pages, these still need to be counterfeit-proof and their personal data can benefit from protection against fraudulent alteration attempts. We supply three types of security elements for PC cards and data pages: embeddable hot-stamping foils, SOLID™ full-face holographic security interlayers and embeddable holographic tapes.

VISION™ holographic embeddable foils (metallised or transparent) are designed to be hot-stamped to the reverse of the top layer of a PC card or data page (or the top of the second layer) prior to card assembly and provide a localised security feature, often in the photo area. This solution provides effective visual authentication while being compatible with laser engraving.

SOLID™ - our flagship product for PC – is a holographic security interlayer for polycarbonate ID documents. It is designed to be integrated as the second layer into the PC document construction, providing maximum tamper resistance, durability and interlayer adhesion combined with best-of-breed optical security across the document surface.
